This is Rachel & Derek! They were married in August 2012, but we did their engagement session in the colder months! It was important to them that we incorporate some harbor and boats into their photos, but birch trees were also meaningful to them (and very prominent at their wedding!). We decided to start the shoot in the Old Port in Portland, Maine, and then finish it up at Fort Williams in Cape Elizabeth to get the best of both worlds!

This is Sarah & Rory! You probably remember their awesome wedding which I posted just a few weeks ago. In addition to their wedding day coverage we also scheduled a Rock the Dress session! These are often done with just the bride, but the groom can come along, too – and in this case, he did! It’s a great opportunity for the couple to get back into their wedding attire and spend more time on portraits.
