This is Laura & Daniel! They actually eloped to Washington, D.C. in December 2011, but wanted to have a bigger celebration with family and friends. They rented a small house on Little Duck Pond in Windham, Maine and had a very intimate, casual party. They had their ceremony right on the water and had the reception in a tent in front of the house. It was awesome – everyone gathered together in the woods, surrounded by nature, just smiling and laughing and enjoying the food and music!

This is Shab & Ian! Shab first contacted me way back in August of 2011. She was very concerned with getting intimate, candid photos, so I knew we’d be an awesome fit! They celebrated at the Pierce House in Lincoln, Massachusetts — built in 1900 and just gorgeous inside and out. Shab got ready on-site in one of the house’s beautiful upstairs rooms, and for a while we fretted about the rain… but it stayed clear and they were able to do the ceremony outside!
