This Spring Point Ledge Lighthouse engagement session with Hanna and Justin was cloudy, moody, lovey perfection! These two were married down in Massachusetts so they decided to change things up and come up to my neck of the woods for the engagement photos. We decided on an outdoorsy, ocean-centric location and Spring Point Ledge Lighthouse in South Portland fit the bill. This lighthouse is part of the SMCC campus and dang, how lucky those students are. Engagement Photos in Downtown Portland, Maine | Jemila & Carrie!
These engagement photos in downtown Portland, Maine were extra special because Jemila actually proposed to Carrie! They were on a trip to Maine to celebrate Carrie proposing to Jemila, but what Carrie didn’t know is that Jemila planned to return the favor… ON CAMERA! This post focuses on just their couple photos, really, since the engagement was so quick and personal. But I was incredibly honored to be present. Proposals are one of my FAVORITE things to photograph. I love helping couples have a special experience together and allow them to be themselves and truly have fun in the process. 🙂
