2013: Wedding Portraits!
One of my last 2013 recap posts… WEDDING PORTRAITS! This is one of my favorite parts of the wedding day. One of the only chances for the couple to be alone together and just let it sink in that they’re about to get married, or that they just got married (depending on when you do your solo portraits!). It’s a time filled with giddy laughter and excitement, and it makes for some of the most excellent photos! Here’s some of my favorites from this year…

This is Jamie & Jon! Jamie found me on Offbeat Bride — duh — and told me all about her amazing camp wedding. Her and Jon met on OK Cupid and had been dating for a few years before getting engaged. They lived half the time with Jon’s 9-year-old son, who was very much involved in the wedding (and was awesome!). She told me about how they wouldn’t be following many traditions, wouldn’t have a wedding party, how Jon would be wearing a kilt (I LOVE grooms in kilts!), and mentioned having BBQ for dinner along with home-brewed beer.
