This is Erika & Mike! They found me on Offbeat Bride, which to me is ALWAYS a sign of great things to come! They were married at The Riverview in Simsbury, Connecticut, which is a pretty fantastic venue. I especially liked that they added their own spin to the decor, with a mix of black and hot pink (a common thread throughout the day!) as well as their bad ass cake (and dragon cake topper!). This is Erika & Eric! I actually met Erika while volunteering at Planned Parenthood — she’s one of their volunteer coordinators! We met during my initial interview and actually worked together during a few shifts — I helped out for a while during my slower season and was a clinic escort, something I have ALWAYS wanted to do. Eric works at Planned Parenthood as well, so I had also seen him around.
