This is Chelsie & Nick! I’ve “known” Chelsie for a while now — we have a few mutual friends in common — and I was SO psyched when she contacted me about their wedding. It was somewhat last minute but I happened to have their September date open — FATE! Even more fate when I posted on Facebook looking for volunteers for a colored powder shoot (also known as Holi powder, the same kind of stuff you see in The Color Run and other spin-offs) and Chelsie & Nick excitedly jumped on board. This is Heather & David! Heather found me on Offbeat Bride and excitedly told me all about their “destination” wedding (they live in New Jersey but got married in Portland). Right away I knew we would make a good match — she seemed to be just as bubbly and enthusiastic as me. 🙂 We met at Fort Williams Park in Cape Elizabeth for their engagement session and it was a gorgeous day. David was a little bit camera shy but I think he warmed up — it’s hard not to feel happy and comfortable with Heather’s huge smile around! 🙂
