This is Hilary & Don! The two of them had a pretty whirlwind experience getting together — meeting through friends, becoming friends themselves, and getting together… but then Don got deployed to Iraq. It was a long wait, but Hilary said they were back together within a couple months of his arrival, despite neither of them thinking they had a chance with the other. He proposed to her on New Year’s Eve 2010, and they had a quick 10 month engagement before celebrating on their wedding day! This is Katie & Joel! They returned to their home state of Maine in 2007 for Joel to attend law school, and couldn’t think of a more perfect place to have their wedding. They had their ceremony at the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception in Portland, Maine, and did something a bit unique. Their ceremony ended around 2:00pm, but their reception, at The Portland Club (one of my all-time favorite spots in the Portland area!), didn’t start until 5:00pm.
