This is Sarah & Lizzie! Sarah found me on Offbeat Bride and was very interested in having me photograph their Portland wedding, letting me know up front that they were only looking for someone for a few hours, and that it would be a very casual day. I love casual! They were married at Grace, one of my FAVORITE spots in Portland. It was originally a church, built in the 1850s, and is now a bad ass restaurant and bar (and excellent wedding venue!). This is Laurin & Phil, two of the sweetest people I’ve ever met! The two of them met in Spain (Phil is British/Spanish) while Laurin was studying abroad. They ultimately knew they wanted to incorporate some of their roots into the wedding… Spain for Phil, and Maine for Laurin! They had a unique situation, planning their wedding primarily from the UK, but they totally pulled it off (with much help from Laurin’s parents in Brunswick!).
