This is Ilona & Chris! They had initially wanted to do their engagement on a lobster boat — there’s several tours out of Portland — but we weren’t able to make it work with our schedules, so we settled with staying near the water in both downtown Portland and Fort Williams Park in Cape Elizabeth! We did the shoot in mid-April which — true to Maine weather — was still quite cold, hence why they’re wearing hats and winter coats. š But we got some GORGEOUS photos and had so much fun!

This is Colleen & Tyler! Once in a while I get asked to do an engagement session for a couple whose wedding I’m not already photographing, and this was one of those times!Ā Colleen isĀ in graduate school in Boston and Tyler isĀ stationed in Portsmouth with the US Coast Guard, but their wedding was happening in California and they planned to find a wedding photographer out that way… so they wanted some beautiful engagement photos in New England!
