The two of them had a pretty whirlwind experience getting together — meeting through friends, becoming friends themselves, and getting together… but then Don got deployed to Iraq. It was a long wait, but Hilary said they were back together within a couple months of his arrival, despite neither of them thinking they had a chance with the other. He proposed to her on New Year’s Eve 2010, and they had a quick 10 month engagement before celebrating on their wedding day! This is Kallie & Eric! They are a unique couple, for sure, and I liked their style right away. Firstly, Kallie proposed to Eric… how cool is that!? Secondly… they decided on a film theme for their wedding reception. That’s just plain awesome. They chose the Belfast Boat House for their wedding day, which is a fantastic spot. It’s a small, intimate venue, just SURROUNDED by the beauty of coastal Maine. Perfect! They traveled from Kansas, but they’re both Maine natives, so it worked perfectly.
