This is Katie & Joel! They returned to their home state of Maine in 2007 for Joel to attend law school, and couldn’t think of a more perfect place to have their wedding. They had their ceremony at the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception in Portland, Maine, and did something a bit unique. Their ceremony ended around 2:00pm, but their reception, at The Portland Club (one of my all-time favorite spots in the Portland area!), didn’t start until 5:00pm. This is Jessica & Tom! Jessica initially described her wedding to me as “DIY, vintage, and all about the party”… SOLD! They were married at the Canoe Club in West Bridgewater, Massachusetts (which has since been renovated, so it’s even more awesome!). Their ceremony was short and sweet, held right on the side lawn in the gazebo. The reception was inside, and Jessica and her bridesmaids did SO much of the decor themselves, it was awesome and truly unique.
