This is Emily and Andrew, and one of my most badass weddings from 2011. They were married at the Hope Artiste Village in Pawtucket, Rhode Island, which is just one of the coolest venues ever. It’s one of the largest mill restoration projects in Rhode Island and is home to an eclectic mix of entrepreneurs and artists alike. Plus it looks amazing inside — all industrial with exposed brick. Very cool. Bobbi Brown | Guerrilla Marketing Campaign
This was a pretty fun thing that I was asked to photograph. Bobbi Brown Cosmetics contacted me in March asking if I would be interested in photographing a guerrilla marketing campaign they were doing in Boston to advertise for their “Secret of the Universe” – basically, their concealer and corrector were being relaunched with an improved formulation and a wider range of shades. They had a street team outside hanging out free tote bags and giving away coupons, and there was an event happening inside Neiman Marcus as well — where they were doing makeovers and giving away samples — so I got to photograph both!
