These Portland, Maine lifestyle family photos are my favorite kind of family photos — natural, fun, and full of candid joy! Lucy and Chris live in the East End with their son, Carter, and their tiny pug loaf of a dog. 🙂 We spent some time just hanging out in their apartment, reading, playing, snuggling, and Carter’s grandparents even made an appearance for some photos, too! Such a fun time and I think everyone’s true selves could really be captured in such a personal, comfortable setting (plus we didn’t have to worry about the freezing temps outside!).

This Westbrook, Maine indoor baby session was with one of my favorite little families — Kellie, Owen, and their son, Quinn! I photographed Kellie & Owen’s Two Lights engagement photos, their quintessential Portland wedding, and family photos on Mackworth Island with Kellie’s amazing parents and siblings. When they let me know they were expecting a baby, I was thrilled. There couldn’t be two people better equipped for parenthood: these two are warm, loving, super intelligent, and just all-around GOOD people. You just know it instantly when you’re around them! They were planning a trip back to Maine around Thanksgiving so we met up at Kellie’s parents’ condo for some indoor photos…
