Once in a while I photograph events, primarily the Garden Party at Oak Hill Ace Hardware! I have a huge family connection to both this store and the other Ace Hardware in Scarborough — both of my in-laws own them, and my sister-in-law, brother-in-law, and my husband ALL work between the two stores. I’m basically the only one of the group who DOESN’T work there (though I did for a couple years right before I started my photography business!). This is Tasha! She’s my amazing hair stylist extraordinaire and when she asked me to do a boudoir session for her, I was THRILLED! She came to my studio in Portland and ROCKED, per usual. Not only is this woman stunningly gorgeous, but she’s one of the most natural people in front of a camera — she loves to pose, she’s sassy, and she’s got a huge range of facial expressions and attitudes.
