Fort Williams Park Proposal | Robert & Trish!

This Fort Williams Park proposal was so beautiful, and such an honor to be a part of — it’s amazing to witness such an awesome moment! Robert got in touch with me a couple weeks ahead of time to plan the event — he wanted to do something as close to sunrise as possible so him and Trish could spend the rest of the day celebrating. 🙂 They were visiting Maine and weren’t familiar with Fort Williams Park — one of my favorite spots right in Cape Elizabeth — so I helped him out by sending him photos I had taken that had different views of the lighthouse (since it was important to him to capture Portland Head Light in the photos). We came up with a whole plan for where he would propose, where I would be hiding, exactly what time it would happen… it’s a crucial part of photographing a proposal and I’m always happy to guide and help in any way I can! Everything worked out perfectly, and we even got some engagement photos right after she said yes. 🙂
