This is Brooke & Jon, one of the nerdiest, most awesome couples ever! Brooke found me on Offbeat Bride and we almost instantly bonded over a mutual love of The Office and video games. When she told me about their Super Mario-themed wedding, I was HOOKED. What could be cooler than that!? They celebrated at Vazzano’s Four Seasons in Stratford, Connecticut, which — conveniently enough — is right down the road from their house! It was really cool, and unique, to photograph them getting ready in their home and then literally walk down the street to the wedding. They had so many amazing details incorporated into their way — all on the theme of Super Mario Bros. — and it was like a freaking scavenger hunt to find them all. Jon even constructed a photo booth backdrop to fit into the theme… you just have to see it to believe it. 😀
