This is Kayla & Joe! The two of them met in middle school, amazingly enough, while they were both living in Rhode Island. They dated in high school and again in college, and finally decided to get married! When Kayla first contacted me in September, Joe was in Oregon for a job he took after graduation, so they did a long distance thing for a bit — and they actually incorporated some of Oregon into their wedding decor (their table names!). This is Claire & Dan! We actually did their engagement session only a couple weeks before their wedding. They booked me pretty last minute, and we thought it would be fun to meet and chat about their wedding and then go take some awesome photos! We started the shoot at the SMCC campus, since that’s where they were having their ceremony. It’s such an awesome area — there’s a great mix of ocean, rocky beach, lighthouse, older brick buildings, and new modern buildings.
