This Lush company party at Biscuits & Company in Biddeford, Maine was not only fun as hell but BISCUITS! DELICIOUS BISCUITS! This was my second year in a row photographing the amazing folks from the Maine Mall location of Lush — the year before they had their party at Bayside American Cafe — and it was even more fun the second time around. Back in the spring I photographed the Oak Hill Ace Hardware garden party! They try to do something similar every spring to get local vendors and customers together to mingle and enjoy some great deals (and great food & drink!). I’ve got a liiiittle bit of a connection at Ace… my husband was a store manager at BOTH stores (on top of working there for 12+ years), my father-in-law has been working at Oak Hill FOREVER and both of my in-laws currently own the two stores, my soon-to-be brother-in-law is the other store’s manager, and my sister-in-law does their marketing.
