This is Sarah & Rory! Truly an awesome couple, it’s been a joy to be part of their family’s celebrations so often (you’ll see more from their family soon!). Sarah and Rory met in Colorado when Sarah was out there for school. After about 2 months of dating, Rory left for Iraq — a challenge for any couple — but Sarah said she knew from the start that she’d met the man she was going to marry. They have a truly supportive and loving relationship, and they were excited to bring their families — hers in Maine and his in Colorado — together. They had their ceremony at St. Peter and Paul Basilica in Lewiston, Maine. I’m not exaggerating when I say that this is probably the most breathtaking church I have ever seen. Truly stunning, inside and out. The ceremony was beautiful, and we took lots of portraits at the church afterwards — inside, out in their garden, and out front (for the amazing view!). We then headed to the Hilton Garden Inn in Auburn (the same place where we did Mary & Sarah’s senior photos!) for their reception. It was such a fun day!
