Rachel + Jake | Engaged! Acadia National Park Engagement Session

This is Rachel & Jake! I am unfortunately unable to photograph their September 2013 wedding, but they still wanted me to do their engagement photos, which was a blast! Rachel was set on Acadia National Park in Mt. Desert Island, Maine — primarily so we could get shots on Cadillac Mountain. I could not have been more happy to oblige. My assistant, Kim, and I made the trek up there on a gorgeous day and we had so much fun adventuring around. At some point, Jake joked about them getting naked, and I said… why not!? I didn’t entirely think they’d do it, but the next thing I knew they were undressing next to a big tree and standing buck naked on a rock for the whole world to see. Luckily the park was pretty deserted that day. 😉
