Meaghan + Mike | Married! 08.14.10 | St. Mary’s Church Wedding | The Holiday Inn Wedding | Foxboro, Massachusetts Wedding | Massachusetts Wedding Photographer

Meaghan and Mike are the sweetest couple ever. I knew right away that I was going to love their wedding when I first started talking with Meaghan months ago. You could just tell that she was not only a total sweetheart but very smart and mature and put together — meeting her (and Mike) was no different! They are both very young and very obviously in love. From shooting their wedding I was able to see what an amazing network of both friends and family they have. It’s an awesome thing to witness. They were married at St. Mary’s Church in Foxboro, MA and had their reception at The Holiday Inn in Taunton, MA! They had the wildest reception I’ve ever been to — damn, their friends sure loved to dance!

Anna’s Cake Smash Shoot! | 08.24.10 | Maine Baby Photographer

Melissa contacted me a while back about doing a “cake smash” shoot for her daughter, Anna, right before her 1st birthday. I was thrilled, because not only do I love kids (especially chubby little babies!) but I’d never done a cake smash shoot before and was excited to try it out! It is exactly what it sounds like: you set the child down in front of a cake and let them smash the heck out of it. Amazingly enough, babies are EVEN CUTER when covered from head to toe in frosting (and a whole lot more edible). I went to Fort Williams Park in Cape Elizabeth, Maine, with Melissa, her husband and Anna and we had a blast exploring the park and then smashing some cake!
