Davenport Landing Beach Wedding | Lauren & Josh

Lauren & Josh’s Davenport Landing Beach wedding was absolutely magical — what more could you ask for besides a glowing, sunny, West Coast wedding? Lauren found me on Offbeat Bride and I was pretty instantly excited to hear from her. I absolutely love the West Coast — I’ve done a San Francisco engagement session as well as two San Francisco family sessions — and photographing a wedding in the same area has been on my bucket list for a while now! Lauren told me about how excited they were for a big party with all of their family and friends, and how they planned to include her 4-year-old daughter, Claire, in the ceremony, and I was hooked!

My husband and I stayed nearby in Santa Cruz which worked out perfectly since Lauren & Josh wanted to do a fun Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk family session instead of an engagement session!

We started the wedding day off at the Davenport Roadhouse Restaurant & Inn, where they got ready, and then it was just a quick trip down to Davenport Landing Beach for their beautiful ceremony. It was super casual and fun — guests were kicking their sandals off so they could feel the sand on their feet — and then we headed back to the Roadhouse for some rousing toasts, ice cream sandwiches, and dancing! Such a good day!
