This is Kaitlin & Taryn! Kaitlin found me on Offbeat Bride and told me all about their day. Initially they only knew their reception venue and were undecided on the ceremony spot, but I was sold already! She told me how much her and Taryn LOVE food, how their colors would focus around purple and lime green, how they both LOVE candid and artsy photographs, and overall how relaxed and fun they wanted their day to be. I was psyched from the beginning! They had their ceremony at Stanley Park in Westfield, Massachusetts — an absolutely GORGEOUS private, non-profit park. This place is filled with amazing landscaping, an arboretum, a multitude of gardens, memorials, a frog pond, and an herb garden & meeting house (which is where their ceremony took place). It was extremely laid-back and filled with laughter (and lots of happy tears). We headed to Mill 1 in Holyoke for their reception… another incredible spot! Exposed brick walls, high ceilings, and hardwood floors, it totally fit the aesthetic that Kaitlin & Taryn were going for. They had a beautiful first dance, cut their amazing cake (that a friend made for them!), and had an ice cream truck show up partway through so guests could take an ice cream break. How perfect. 😀
