Bright Star World Dance Photoshoot

This Bright Star World Dance photoshoot was unlike any I’ve ever done — it was so exciting and lively! I met Josie forever ago — she was in Meg & Carrie’s wedding party, and she’s just an all-around cool person (duh). She got in touch with me to take some photos of her at a dance studio so she could have some natural, in-action photos of her for her website since she teaches and choreographs dance classes! We ended up renting the space at Bright Star World Dance in Portland and it was perfect. It was so, so fun to just watch Josie in her element. She started off with stretching and warming up, and then I just let her go wild and dance to her heart’s content while I photographed… it was amazing because she’s not only incredibly talented (and flexible!), but she’s just got this vibrant spirit and warmth to her. Such a fun morning!
