INSTAGRAM MONDAY! 08/19/13

Welcome to INSTAGRAM MONDAY! This week was pretty eventful… lots of photo shoots, TWO weddings, and a BBQ with my good friend and previous assistant, Brandon! Awesome times!

My husband mowed the lawn, per usual, and this was the view from my office. Daaaaamn! 🙂

I found a new friend on the side of our fire pit.

To celebrate Brandon being home, my Mom made a cake COVERED in his favorite candies!

The Bengal and the pup coexisted on the couch this week. I took the photo just a SECOND too late – before this moment The Bengal was actually laying down and relaxing.

Our pup got spayed and she had a hard time climbing stairs for a day or two, so Nate was a gentleman and carried her. Be still my heart!

We had an amaaaaazing margherita pizza from one of our favorite Portland spots, Otto.

I photographed a wedding in Buxton with my amazing friend, Tina (who looks very mischievous here, and I’d say that’s true to character).

At said wedding there was a WHOLE ROASTED PIG, which was, in a word, incredible.

The next day we did a wedding in South Thomaston, Maine. We stopped in Owls Head to photograph the guys getting ready, and also popped into the Owls Head General Store for what is, according to Food Network, the best burger in Maine. This is the “7 Napkin Burger” and holy crap, it was SO GOOD.

And true to its name – here’s my 7 napkins.

Our pup was sick for a couple days! Being brand new puppy parents this was very distressing for us, but today she’s feeling SO MUCH better.

My husband occasionally creeped on me while I had all-day editing sessions.

The Bengal is officially back to his normal sweet self!
