Elizabeth + Bruce | Married! 10.12.13 | Woodstock Inn Wedding | The Loft at Simon Pearce Wedding

This is Elizabeth & Bruce! Elizabeth found me on A Practical Wedding and I couldn’t have been more excited when she contacted me. I grew up traveling to Vermont a few times per year to see my grandparents and we always drove through Woodstock and Quechee, often stopping at the Quechee Gorge for a little pit stop. I absolutely jumped at the chance to spend the day in Woodstock with them for their beautiful wedding! Elizabeth is the absolute sweetest and Bruce is the perfect match for her. She told me up front that they were both “older and wiser” and this was a second marriage for both of them — when I asked what she was most excited about when thinking about the wedding day, she responded with “Well, getting married!!!”. 🙂 They live in the Boston area but Woodstock was their first getaway and they both love the town. They had an intimate wedding day with around 40-50 of their close friends and family and just focused on good food, good music, and good fun! Their ceremony was on the front lawn of the Woodstock Inn — absolutely stunning. We headed to a gorgeous covered bridge for formals, and then over to Simon Pearce for the reception! They make INCREDIBLE glassware (you can head down to the basement area and watch the glass being blown!), and they also have a fantastic restaurant and The Loft which is their private dining area. It was an amazing day!
