Cumberland, Maine Family Session with Jamie & Dan!

This Cumberland, Maine family session with Jamie & Dan and their four children was one of my favorites of the whole year, in large part because of just how incredible and personable all of these amazing kids were! Lots of kids are nervous to be photographed, but this gang warmed up right away, and they really played off each other to get each other laughing, goofing around, and posing!

We did some of the session at their home in Cumberland and then we headed to a nearby beach for some photos of them playing in the sand and exploring. We were lucky to have the entire beach to ourselves so the kids could really run free! I loved that we were able to get a mix of a few posed portraits with lots of candid shots of the kids building forts in the sand, exploring the water, and just running around and doing cartwheels. 🙂
