This is Bobbie & Peter! Bobbie found me through a friend and told me all about their low-key, vintage-y wedding. She said they’re both pretty shy in front of the camera, but they’re “pretty laid back, more than a little goofy, and hold hands a lot” — sold! They met online and had their first date at the Marliave in Boston, so it was an obvious choice for their intimate wedding celebration. They planned the day their way — cutting out traditions that didn’t make sense and instead focusing on what was truly important to them. They skipped having a wedding party (as Bobbie said, they love everyone equally), they walked down the aisle together, and they did an extended First Look (my favorite!) — they saw each other in one of the lounge rooms at the hotel and then we headed to the Boston Common for their couple portraits while it was still light out! It actually started raining HARD right at the end of our portraits — we had to run from covered area to covered area to make our way back. But we got some awesome photos before that happened. 😉 They had an indoor ceremony, a very relaxed cocktail hour, and a party-centric reception, focused on food and dancing! Awesome day!
